- I've been trying to find the answer to that question too. I believe you need to get the devmode for the printer you want to change and set the dmOrientation attribute to portrait or landscape. What I've learned so far is that .NET has no functionality for doing that yet. So you have to import unmanaged functions from a DLL. This makes for a very cumbersome solution, as you have to import a ton of code to accomplish one small task. Here's the code I found and am working with. But I am stuck on the OpenPrinter( ) call in the GetPrinterSettings( ) routine. My call keeps returning 0, which throws a Win32Exception.
